How to play

The goal: Move the whole tower from the first post to the third. Tap a tower to lift its top stone, then tap another tower to set it down. A stone can never rest on a smaller one.
A perfect path: Every tower has a minimum number of steps: 7 for three stones, 31 for five, 4,095 for twelve. Finish in exactly that many for a perfect climb.
The clock: The clock starts the moment you lift your first stone and stops when the tower stands.
Tower height: Tap the gold stone at the top right, then choose from three to twelve stones.

Where are my records?: Tap the stone with the bars at the top right. Your three best climbs stand as pillars; tap any climb to see its moves or replay it.
Why can't I see World times?: World times come from Game Center. Sign in under Settings › Game Center, then open Records again.
How do I turn the sound off?: Tap the stone with the small moving bars. Hanoi also stays quiet when your iPhone's silent switch is on.
Will my records move to a new iPhone?: Records are kept on your iPhone and move with a device backup or transfer. Your best times on Game Center follow your Apple Account.
How do I start over?: Tap the stone with the curved arrow to begin the tower again.
